Senior Marketing Manager

We are a fast-growing marketing team that sits under the Designated Group and Designated Medical brands. We provide virtual integrated marketing support across a wide range of sectors, supporting SME businesses and private healthcare suppliers with marketing expertise. We are not an agency or an in-house team – we are best of both. We see our clients as the beating heart of our business and our team wraps around them, providing essential business support services in Marketing, PA, Recruitment and Accountancy to allow them to focus on growing their business.

Due to our growth, we are now looking for an outstanding Senior Marketing Manager to join our great team. This person needs to have strong strategic skills but must also be able to deliver against the strategy. Our team are all senior individuals, and so you must be able to roll your sleeves up and deliver end to end marketing with the wider team’s support.

What you look like…

• Experience of working with or for a marketing agency is essential
• Team player
• Keen to establish both team and client relationships
• Integrated marketing experience from both a strategic perspective as well as implementation and delivery. E.g. social media, newsletters, CRM, digital, cross channel, PR
• Strong social media skills
• WordPress skills would be great but not essential
• Experience in the following would be ideal – Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Google analytics
• Highly motivated and a great communicator – working remotely, these skills are essential to ensuring this role is a success.

You will be accountable for:

• Owning client relationships
• Developing clients marketing strategy and plan
• Implementation and delivery of marketing plan
• Reporting results to client and Marketing Director
• Supporting Marketing Director with new business pitches when required
• Growing existing client revenue
• Supporting the wider team when you can be of help

The deal…

We are looking for someone who can start immediately on a freelance contract. Designated is flexible for both clients and our team, so the number of hours can grow with you. Your working pattern can be fluid, as long as the work is delivered on time and the clients are happy!
