Project Manager. Finance SaaS. Remote. Full Time. Up to £41K plus benefits.

Our Client

You will focus on building lasting relationships with client schools to drive customer satisfaction; ensure our clients profile and utilisation is high across the school userbase and drive sales of the full product/service portfolio. Through regular client communication, video calls and on-site visits, you will identify sales opportunities and manage the full sales process through to closure.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for successfully migrating clients from their existing finance systems or supporting the implementation for those requiring new finance and/or billing systems. You will be the main contact for clients within the education sector during the implementation phase. You will support the client to transition from their existing systems within the timeframes and resources agreed.

You will be responsible for overall project success ensuring an exceptional level of service is delivered to clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Following handover from the Sales team you will be responsible for engaging with the school client and scoping out and planning implementation projects ensuring milestones, objectives and times lines are agreed and achieved.
• Take the lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work closely other Implementation team members and other teams at the client to ensure successful implementation of projects.
• Delegating work to team members as required. Providing them with any appropriate support and guidance.
• Create and maintain accurate records to track progress on projects. Provide updates as required by the Head of Operations and other colleagues.
• Demonstrate your analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to identify and resolve issues. Aim to anticipate issues and be proactive in finding solutions.
• Escalate issues or obstacles in a timely manner.
• Build trusted relationships with client schools during the implementation process.
• Deal with any customer concerns in a timely and professional manner, liaising with other teams as required in order to form a suitable response.
• Maintain a good understanding of our clients finance products and keep up to date with system developments.
• Share knowledge and feedback within the team to help support improvement in processes.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks or projects which support our clients business needs and are within the post holders’ capabilities

The Candidate

Candidate will need to have a background in finance!

Our client is ideally looking for candidates with previous project management experience in a similar finance software implementation role. You will have experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously, a proven track record of delivering projects on time and successfully, a proven track record of achieving customer success, building, and maintaining customer relationships.
Our client would be keen for you to have a recognised accountancy qualification or to be qualified by experience. At the least, essentially, you will possess a strong understanding of accountancy processes and terminology, with the ability to liaise with finance professionals and other stakeholders within the education sector (including bursars).
You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, strong communication skills both written and verbal; ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally, good negotiation skills and the ability to be a self-motivated team player

The Terms

This full time, fully remote role offers some flexibility in working pattern and an excellent opportunity to develop within a growing business. A salary of up to £41K is being offered along with a benefits package and a supportive and ambitious team. Some travel may be required and our clients global reach is growing, so this could be international, eventually.
