Account Executive, Healthcare Comms Agency, Full-time, Hybrid (Remote & London), Attractive Salary

Our Client

Our client is an international strategic healthcare communications firm, based in London, which specialises in investor relations, corporate and financial communications. They specialise in developing clear outcome driven strategies with tailored communications programmes for their clients.

Their team of healthcare specialists includes communications experts, ex-fund managers and analysts who are experienced and trusted advisors to some of the world’s most exciting public and private companies across pharmaceuticals, medtech, biotech, digital health and healthcare services.

They currently have an opening to join their thriving team as an Account Executive.

The Role

Account Executives have the opportunity to learn about the Public and Investor Relations sector and their respective mechanics, and, more specifically, gain hands-on experience and contribute to the company’s service to a range of clients within the life sciences sector.

A line manager and buddy are assigned from day one and all Account Executives are provided with a detailed induction.

Role & Responsibilities

• Researching editorial calendars, updating media/stakeholder lists for clients/projects.
• Drafting press releases, creating and managing media monitoring, status reports, agendas and coverage reports.
• Maintaining research on credentials.
• Developing knowledge of key publications relevant to clients to support PR programmes.
• Assisting with events and meetings to ensure that the team and clients experience a professional service.
• Proof-reading material.
• Undertaking directed research to support the development of campaigns and new business proposals.
• Managing the distribution and filing of important client announcements.

Required Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

• Good written communication and an interest in Life Sciences is essential.
• A well-presented communicator, both verbally and written; with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to both prioritise and multitask effectively under time constraints, to ensure smooth day to day operation.
• Some experience of communications would be helpful but not pre-requisite, e.g. as an intern within a PR consultancy or press office or news outlet.
• Language Skills: English (fluent), other languages e.g. German an advantage.
• Advanced IT knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook); production of PowerPoint presentations to a professional level using templates
• Familiarity and competency in social media (e.g. Twitter and LinkedIn).
• A team-player: one who can work flexibly within a team and will seek help when appropriate.
• An individual who embraces change and is quickly able to adapt to team needs/demands and priorities to deliver to set/multiple deadlines.
