Business Development Executive, c. 15 hrs/wk, £14-£16.50 per hr, Fully Remote, Flexible Hours

Established in 2009, our client are a small Worthing based training company offering virtual & traditional training & coaching in the field of people development.

They are currently looking for a freelance Business Development Executive to contribute to the growth of their client base and become an important part of the company’s growth.

The Role

Working alongside the MD, you will be responsible for generating new business appointments through a combination of content marketing, email & social media campaigns together with follow-up and cold calling.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business leads & make viable new business appointments
• Write & send tailored email marketing campaigns to cold & warm prospects, with a view to make new business appointments
• Conduct follow up emails & calls with prospective clients
• Maintain & build a prospecting database
• Write industry articles, blogs & email marketing campaigns around people development themes
• Create & post marketing content for social media platforms & email marketing
• Create & maintain social media presence across multiple platforms, (LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Maintain & update the website with relevant content
• Stay up to date with industry trends

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of lead generation (ideally in similar industry)
• Previous experience in B2B sales, particularly lead generation & content marketing
• A professional & pro-active approach to building strong relationships with prospective clients
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Good telephone manner
• Excellent IT skills – ability to use all Microsoft products proficiently
• Ability to produce high quality marketing content
• Interest or previous experience in people development training

Terms

This role is initially offered on a freelance basis seeking circa 15 hrs/wk with an hourly rate of £14-£16.50 per hour. The role will be wholly remote based with flexibility around how the hours are worked.
