SWEDA is looking for a highly skilled Digital & Marketing Fundraiser to support the CEO and Fundraiser with proven digital fundraising or individual giving experience.
SWEDA has worked hard to build a positive fundraising activity and to embed and foster a fundraising culture across the organisation. We would like you to develop and deliver our Digital Fundraising Strategy to diversify our income streams via social media, digital marketing and digital platforms
SWEDA recently secured further funding from the National Lottery, followed by being chosen as one of the ten winners of the GSK IMPACT Awards 2021. We have also been successful with Trusts and Foundations but are now looking to diversify with the help of Digital Marketing, as we strive to become the “go to” service for Eating Disorders in Somerset and Wessex.
We are looking for a candidate who has the necessary skills & experience to fulfil the following role:
JOB PURPOSE
– Develop and deliver Digital Marketing Strategy to diversify our income streams via social media, digital marketing and digital platforms
– Produce digital campaigns that support the aims and objectives of SWEDA
– Manage relationships with various collaborating agencies to ensure SWEDA maintains the best possible association
– Build on our database of donors, keeping them informed and updated of SWEDA campaigns
– Work with the Fundraiser to devise and organise individual giving campaigns, such as the Christmas Appeal and Friends of SWEDA campaigns
– Produce regular reports on the results of different fundraising appeals and campaigns; interpret the results, input to the forward planning of the team and implement findings so that the programme continually improves
– Manage information and records of fundraising activity of donors on our database in a GDPR and PECR-compliant manner as we aim for best practice, putting the supporter first and giving them more choice in channels and content that they hear from us
– Manage and update all digital platforms in relation to fundraising content
– Manage your own work and ensure that targets are met
– Support the CEO to research fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the organisation’s work
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Support the aims and objectives of SWEDA
– Comply with the culture and policies governing the organisation
– Maintain a positive working relationship with other team members
– Work with all SWEDA staff/Trustees as and when required
– The post holder will be working in a developing environment and will therefore need an adaptable and flexible approach to their role, which is expected to develop over time
