We are looking for a motivated, proactive Learning & Development Team Lead to join us for a period of 12 months, to help us expand and promote our global learning community here at Mediaocean.

What you will do:

As Learning & Development Team Lead, you will oversee planning and scheduling for all L&D activities, events and global programs.

Working as part of the L&D Team, you’ll lead on a variety of projects to increase people management capability, to support the implementation of a new performance management approach, and to help up-skill and develop current and new members of staff.

You will manage our L&D Coordinator, and provide regular 1:1 support the global L&D team. In addition, you will promote our learning and development philosophy through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and play an active role in the strategy to drive inclusion across our organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the annual plan for all L&D activities and events.
  • Overseeing scheduling of our global learning programs, and line management of our L&D Coordinator.
  • Conducting regular 1:1s with team members to discuss support required, upcoming projects, and to give and receive feedback.
  • Assessing team needs for training, and conducting internal Train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Managing the strategy for our leadership training program.
  • Creating, updating and administering compliance learning.
  • Managing requests for translated learning materials.
  • Offering consultative 1:1s with employees who want to discuss their personal development.
  • Facilitating regular training for EMEA offices.

Who you are:

  • A motivated, initiative-taking leader, committed to promoting our learning and development philosophy.
  • Demonstrable experience of leadership within L&D in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with employees across the organisation.
  • Experience of maintaining and updating data within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
