Employed opportunity, full-time position 40 hours a week, flexible working hours (events don’t fit with a 9-5, so expect some weekend work).

Salary: £30-40k depending on experience.

Primarily Home-based/remote position (part of a remote first team), but with an office in central London. UK travel to events and sites as required.

The role of Marketing Manager

As Coalition Presents is able to rebuild its events schedule, the time has come to recruit a MARKETING MANAGER to deliver both ticket sales-focused marketing strategy, building the profile of brands owned by the business, and elevate the company brand itself. This position is instrumental in helping Coalition Presents build its clients and portfolio of branded events to create outstanding live experiences for defined audiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, successful, focused, and creative Marketeer to take on a commercial challenge to help grow an exciting live event brand.

YOU ARE:

Someone with a background in Marketing, ideally in events, with proven experience in implementing projects, campaigns, and initiatives that have driven ticket (or other) sales.

Naturally skilled in picking up the style and tone of a brand and bringing its story to life through strategic content and promotional marketing (advertising, social media, story-telling, campaigns, and promotions).

Able to ‘get on and do’ as the core in-house marketing function, with a positive attitude and belief that anything is possible!

Familiar with Marketing tech – CRM/email automation system, website CMS, design, and project management tools.

Great at Project Management – keeping on top of deadlines, able to coordinate resources and team input where required. Juggling projects is a very necessary skill!

A ‘digital native’ – able to run organic and paid for campaigns on relevant social media to generate ticket sales.

Able to switch between brands quickly when putting campaigns together and reporting on each.

Can find time to focus on ‘company’ marketing alongside each event and brand.

Great at managing other team members – either in-house, agency, or freelance to create marketing assets and get campaigns done.
Report on everything, suggest improvements, and implement them.
You will love the style of entertainment the company represents and have knowledge of a broad selection of the roster.

You love detail, detail, detail!

You don’t have to have worked with an events company before, but it would be (very) helpful. Great commercially driven marketing experience and a get-it-done attitude will trump everything, however.

YOU WILL BE:

Working closely alongside our fast-paced, nonstop idea-generating CEO, you can translate ideas into commercial campaigns.

You LOVE live events, and want to be part of a team that’s bringing new and exciting brands to bigger and bigger audiences.

Picking up and getting things done from day one, you know this isn’t a 9-5 position. You’re happy to manage your own time and tasks but also work well with a team to get things done.
You’ll be given events that are already in the calendar to promote and will be ready to take on new events, talent and challenges.

There are social media accounts that need to be updated and managed for best results. The same goes for the website.

Excellent communication with the management team to achieve goals in line with the company’s revenue plan is vital. You will be expected to ask lots of questions and know what’s going on.

You’ll be working to clear project outcomes and you’ll measure what’s working (and what’s not) and help with ongoing decision-making for marketing actions.

You’ll be part of a growing business, with a clear goal to establish itself as its own brand. You’ll need to be adaptable enough to change your focus regularly, and versatile enough to roll with the changes.

You’ll also be self-assured, and resilient enough to confidently throw your opinions, ideas, and expertise in the ring.

You’ll be strong at implementing systems and setting up processes – aiming to establish clear marketing plans for each branded event.
